Some more Swords & Sandals III news...

I've just finished building the character inventory system. One of the games I loved as a kid was Ultima , in particular UVIIL Serpent Isle... it has a great paper-doll inventory system that hasn't been used much in games since, except for those online dress-up-doll games that seem to be so popular here (lol) .

I've tried to emulate that here, in that you can click and drag items onto your character and they lock on. It's a nice intuitive system and allows you to switch between your weapons/armour fairly easily.

So still a bunch of stuff left to do, spell system, lots of combat anims, a stack of armour still to draw and sound, but hopefully still on track for an August beta launch.

No offense, but nobody would pay 20 bucks for a flash game. No matter how good it is, it's still flash.

Although it is looking like it's coming along quite nicely.

Looks pretty cool =D I hope you don't have to pay again... Maybe have a bunch of ads after every battle like in gem craft on armor games, I'm sure you would get WAY more money that way.

woaw, s&s3 is turning out great! im as excited as i was before the release of sonny.
pay to play? is that true? i mean every1 wants a revard for their hard work, but you will loose most of the audience, and the wiser ones will just download it illegaly... yeah sinjx25, a bunch of ads would ruin the game...

Yeah, the game is good... But NO one wants to pay $20 for some game that tries to be as gory as hell. I mean yeah... I still like the game but yea lol

I thought your games were good, until I noticed you have to pay for the full thing. Its flash if you want to make money get a job, or go into the gaming industry and further your abilities. All your doing here is making people depressed with the fact that you have to pay .......

Umm, it might be wasted effort if you make people charge. I mean, it looks cool, but I don't think ANYONE would pay. Just get ads or something.
